PHAKZ Industrial Services is a dynamic 100% black owned and managed firm that provides Maintenance and Project Management services to industrial and commercial facilities sector in and around Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Management
Mr. Patrick Phakathi is the Managing Director of the company and he is responsible for the overall running of the business. He has a BSc Mechanical Engineering qualification from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is a certified Energy Management Systems Expert through UNIDO’s Industrial Efficiency Project. On top of these he also has a number of short courses covering technical, personal and people development.
Patrick has more than 10 years experience in maintenance engineering, project management and leadership roles gained from national and multi-national companies. He is particularly passionate about self-education and people development.
In his last role in the corporate sector he was the Engineering Manager at AkzoNobel’s ICI Dulux (Pty) Ltd factory. Before joining AkzoNobel he also worked at Tsb Sugar Mill and Rovac Engineering, who specialise in industrial HVAC design and contracting.
